I’m an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (License No. 17717) currently under the supervision of Jaclyn Birdsall (License No. 133678). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychological & Brain Sciences and Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, followed by a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, nonprofit organizations, and private practice.
I provide evidence-based, goal-oriented therapy designed to create meaningful and lasting change. In the early weeks of our work together, we’ll collaborate to identify your goals for therapy and choose research-supported approaches tailored to your needs. We’ll regularly check in on progress, with the ultimate aim of equipping you with the skills and confidence to manage future challenges independently—knowing that you can always reach out for support if needed.
Some of the therapeutic approaches I draw from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness practices, and Attachment Theory. I integrate these with a person-centered framework, emphasizing empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and have completed Level 2 of The Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
While I work with a broad range of concerns, I have particular expertise in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenges in relationships.
I offer a range of session types to best meet each person’s unique needs. For adolescents, I encourage parent involvement, though how often and in what capacity will depend on your child’s age and presenting concerns. For young adults, we’ll decide together whether it makes sense to involve others in the process. These choices are always collaborative—I strive to be flexible and thoughtful in adapting to each person’s goals, family dynamics, and circumstances.
I see clients virtually across the state of California
All 50-minute sessions are $150. While I don’t bill insurance directly, I’m happy to provide monthly superbills that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
